Some of us get go to work from home (globally) on a computer, and can simultaneously multi task with message boards on another personal computer.

That is why you see me posting so often during the day And this guy wears a bathrobe throughout the day... hell.. I usually don't get a chance to jump into the shower until around 4pm.

Wanna see a picture? Something like this:

I'm just surprised you even do that without a helmet. Then again you probably emptied out the helmet protected area just sitting there.

Ps: Here's two helpful hints Always make sure there's paper on the roll before you sit and make sure the bath robe isn't under you when you firer.

Yup, that hail storm came out of nowhere passing through Salt Lake City. Hit it big rain storm passing through Aspen a few years ago and threw it on the helmet for that one as well.

Here in the socialist state of Mex-a-fornia , 1 day Government workers raised their hands to vote we must wear helmets or be thrown into a cage. So, generally I do not wear helmet on the two Lane blacktop's through Sedona, Moab, Zion, North Rim Grand Canyon, telluride, McCall, etc. etc.

Chip, I can fit my modular Nolan closed and standing up in my bag. Takes a little effort, but it works. Always did that in the top case on my '06 RT. And I always wear my helmet, no exceptions. Too many crazy people out there. And it's so much cheaper than buying a new head.

Some of those bicycle helmets don't look effective at ALL! may as well wear a motorcycle helmet; at least a half helmet...

As far as the photo's of the damaged motorcycle helmets.. well there it is. IN YOUR FACE. Indisputable PROOF that they take the brunt of a bad situation. Look at the pictures and imagine what the rider's head would've resembled if the helmet wasn't worn...

    A curious thought....

    Football...
    Hockey...
    Baseball...
    Jai Alai...

All of these have objects moving up to 100 mph....
Yet would we let our kids play these "sports" without a helmet? or any of the "proper" gear?

True, getting into a bar fight and having a bottle cracked against your skull can make for a bad day.

There is protective gear worn in those sports... baseball may be exclusive of being completely cloaked in protective gear; but the catcher and the batter both wear something when facing that fastball.

What the hell is Jai Alai? Some kind of rice dish?

    Florida helmet law

Not a debate, but Florida Law that we educate the service members upon when they take the course:
Yes, Florida has a helmet law.
You need the following three conditions to be met to ride with no helmet in the state of Florida:
    - 21 years old or older
    - have taken the MSF safety course
    - have at least $10,000 insurance for "Non helmet use" which will be annotated upon the front of your insurance card.
As we all know, $10k isn't going to cover squat.
I'm pretty sure also, since it IS an insurance company, that somewhere in the fine print of a motorcyclist's standard insurance that doesn't specifically cover "Non-helmet use" there's a clause stating that the insurance in null and void if the rider isn't wearing a helmet.

Bottom line: I treat non helmet wearing riders like uninsured motorists.

    FWIW.
    Cheers,
    Steve
