    2016 Standard .. Centerstand .. I'm a Genius!

Bought the standard model .. did not come with a centerstand.
    Purchased a ride-off centerstand here ..

    Purchased hardware here ..

    Good install diagrams here...

Pretty straightforward install except that the spring has to be stretched to install it. Went to 2 autoparts stores looking for a tool . no luck. VERY stiff spring. SO I came up with this idea..cost me 5 dollars...

23 nickels, 2 wood screws, a board, and 2 adjusting eye bolts. WORKED GREAT! You need it stretched and held to 6 inches end to end.
Also..you DO NOT to remove any cowls or panels.
P.S. .. once you start inserting nickels it helps to tap them in with a hammer. Once spring is on and you place bike on stand, the nickels all drop out. Easy Peasy.

Job took 30 mins, stand works GREAT! I love it. Highly recommend

Does it go up as easy as the video on Wingstuff shows? Is that because of the reverse gear on the Wing? I've never seen any one put a bike on a center stand while on it, let alone with passenger on back.

Why you would do that with you and a passenger on the bike? Only the full wing has reverse and according to the powers that be it isn't a gear. I guess it operates off the starter motor and you would be taxing it big time with people aboard.

I place kickstand down to unload all passengers. Then I step off bike, standing on left side...facing 90 degrees..looking across the seat..and apply a minimum amount of pressure to the stand with my right foot .. and POW...it sets up on stand perfectly level.

Used the nickles didn't need the rest just took a pliers to hold end of spring and bent it back and forth inserting nickles took little fiddling to make it work. Stuck it on with center stand up after its hooked pull stand down and nickles all fall out. Total of 20 nickles if I remember right.
