    I spent the last 13 days working at the Republic Of Texas Biker Rally in Austin Texas. I have been envolved with this rally as a participant or staff member since it started in 1995. I took my F6B on a trailer behind my RV this year and was there for all the events. It got a lot of attention riding around the rally site. I even rode in the VIP section of the Friday night parade to Congress Street with the celebrity Harley inspired bike builders (Arlen and Zack Ness led the parade along with the rock band Twisted Sister) and many of them were all over my bike since they had not seen one before. Heck, I even let a few people sit on it. They could not believe how light it felt.

    I still get a lot of attention around town since this bike is so new. I figure the attention will stop as more of our motorcycles are on the road.

    Ride your F6B at night when no one is looking. I have a 2nd bike which is my everyday bike, the Burgman 650 Exec. I still get a lot of looks and people stopping to talk.

    If you ride your F6B at night and don't stop by local biker hangouts or stop anywhere where there are people you'll be safe. By using this method, I have had no one stop me to question me about my F6B. Do the same and you can spend your time having fun riding rather than being stopped

    ATTENTION GETTER

    I have had a number of people ask questions about the bike. One at a gas station wanted to take pictures, I think he took about 7. Rode up to a little town north of where I live and went to a bike bar, mostly HD's. I Must have had 15 of these guys checking out the bike and a couple took pics, three came over to talk and ask questions. I am use to this however. I still own a 1997 chromed out Honda Valkyrie that turns heads and prompts comments and pics from almost everywhere I go.

    Loud pipes and Ape Hangers

    People in my neck of the woods only seem to respond to LOUD bikes with Ape Hangers. Does anyone make a set of Ape Hangers to fit the F6B ???

    Ape Hangers

    You do not need Ape Hangers. You are riding a superior bike. I am on a Honda 1300R VTX. I catch flack for not being a Harley rider. I tell them, I do not need a Harley nor VIAGRA. Once, I honored another motorcycle group by playing TAPS for one of their members, at his grave. I had to ride at the back of their ride to a cookout after the graveside honor. They have 'American' made bikes. I told them, my VIN was 1H. My bike was made in Ohio, USA. I say, BE YOURSELF! screw others. Be happy with what you have. You are riding a Honda that will outlast any of the APE Hanger bikes.

    F6B Intervention- it don't get old

    Yes brother. I saw The F6B and was saved, as in saved from Harley cultism. I had an Electra Glide Classic. I liked it much. I commenced buying it all kind of pretty things to put on it. By now I was deep in the Harley Kool-aid. I started riding with other cult members and our ending destinations was always the local Harley Dealer shrine. We'd always ride to the shrine and pay homage, and buy stuff. The last ride was about our ride to the shrine. The next trip was to go to another shrine and buy another $60 tee-shirt that proved we had been there to worship. Soon it was the boots, then the chaps, then the gloves, do -rags, hats, tin signs, the pins, more shirts, shot glasses, underwear, anything Harley. Nothing but Harley oil, Harley cleaning stuff, and Harley magazines. Then one day while at the shrine, I was about to pop on a $500 coat when my wife just up and slapped me. I saw stars. Then I saw a bunch of overpriced merchandise and they same bikes I been seeing for 50 years but with different tank badges. As I was recovering I started looking at other bikes, and riding them and then I went full circle from my early Honda 175 Scrambler, XL350, 450 twin, and CB750 back to this F6B Honda. I like it much but I don't worship it. I don't have anything that says Honda, but I might get something. Things change, times change, Harleys don't. We've all changed. You don't meet the nicest people on a Honda no more. Bout damn time them othe a-holes know that. It don't get old. later....

    That's some funny stuff there because I know what you are talking about since I own a Street Glide.

    Double Dog Ditto! While reading this my last few riding years were flashing through my head. So glad to be free from the shrine and the worship. Now I just worship the road. Anyone wanna buy some Harley gear?

    Oh yeah, and so far my bike has been confused with a Victory Vision, and someone thought it was a BMW. I think it looks like a two wheeled Cadillac. Thinking about some caddy badges front and rear.

    Sounds like the life I had before seeing the light. I had reliability issues (I know you cant believe that) with my last Harley under warranty and the stealership refused to make it right. When it broke down and left me stranded for the fourth time in 6 months I decided to give them one last chance. When they refused to fix it, I traded it on the F6B. When I returned to sell the extended warranty back to the shop, the owner of the shop came out to look at the new ride. I had been getting ripped off at this shop for 6 years through 3 bikes, the owner said "That is a nice looking bike, dont you get warm behind that engine", Nope it is water cooled, "Well the only real issue I see with that bike is that you wont get any credibility pulling up to the bar on a Honda" I couldnt resist, it came out like water.....I couldnt get any pushing the Harley on a trailer either but you couldnt fix that. He dropped his head and walked back inside.
