    Why a private email server?

I could not understand why the Hilderbeast would spend the money, effort and risk to set up her own server.

Surprise! (not) Turns out that private servers are immune to Freedom of Information Act requests. If I were a lying, cheating, incompetent, treasonous bitch, i would set one up also.

EDIT - Nevermind, new guidance has proven me wrong
If you are not part of the solution, YOU are the problem.

Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.

Dave, Ya might want to check that out more throughly and maybe walk back that statement due to this D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling Tuesday that e-mails on private servers are indeed subject to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

We agree with plaintiff-appellant that an agency cannot shield its records from search or disclosure under FOIA by the expedient of storing them in a private email account controlled by the agency head,” the court held.

    Read the D.C. Circuit’s full decision https://www.cadc.uscourts.gov/intern...28-1622973.pdf

    Here is a little more.
    The D.C. Circuit held:
"If a department head can deprive the citizens of their right to know what his department is up to by the simple expedient of maintaining his departmental emails on an account in another domain, that purpose is hardly served. It would make as much sense to say that the department head could deprive requestors of hard-copy documents by leaving them in a file at his daughter’s house and then claiming that they are under her control."

Score one for the good guys

Oh come on Dave tell us how you really feel about that lower than a snake in a wagon wheel rut, two faced felonious, treasonous, whining, conniving Marxist, unapologetic, boastful, self-opinionated, treacherous sad excuse of a human being?
