Not an "official motorcycle glove" but very comfortable. I also keep a pair inside the wife's MX5 for the times she lets me drive it.
Also have some mesh Icon and mesh Yamaha gear.

I use Scorpion Coolhand II gloves. They might not have the best protection, but they're comfortable and cool.

Thanks to all for your advice. I went ahead and purchased two pairs: Alpinestars Scheme gloves and Icon twenty-niners. The Alpinestars look like they will provide a bit more protection with the Kevlar reinforced palm and the Icons, based on the input from others, should be cool and comfortable. Thanks again for all the input.

I just bought the Klim Quest gloves because I will most likely hit a few rainy days on my road trip coming up here in a couple weeks.

I have these fingerless gloves that I usually wear.

I also have these, that are perforated and really allow great airflow.

I just this week purchased a pair of these from RevZilla. When they arrived, they looked great! Unfortunately, when I tried them on...the right hand glove was great but the left hand was noticeably smaller. Both are tagged from Highway21 as being XL...so it is not really RevZilla's fault. I suspect that somehow a Large was mis-tagged as an XL during manufacture.
MY problem is....that I did not find this problem until after I pitched out the packaging and now am unable to return them. A $28 lesson indeed.

Yesterday I had on my Icon 29's for a long time. It was in the low 90's and they were hot on me. I took out another pair ( of many ) and they were much better in the heat. They were a cheaper brand I bought last year named Olympia. The palm pad felt better, and the knit style backing let me feel the air going through them that the 29's couldn't.

“Gibraltar” 2016 white deluxe has been sold.
Thanks for this thread!
The Navy has recently changed their standing Safety Order to include verbiage that states to the effect that all motorcycle riders shall have gloves "designed for motorcycle use" and not just "any" full fingered glove. A lot of Sailors and Marines used to wear the Mechanix style work gloves in the Florida heat - but that apparently has been illegal since the latest OPNAV 5100 came out.
Since I give classes on base now, I shall be in compliance as well. I'm going to try those Olympians (inexpensive immediate solution) and then when I can get to a proper store, try the Icon's.
Cheers,
Steve
