after I hit a deer last summer at 65 mph they totaled my 2015 f6b. I bought a 2016 wing with the insurance money. today I traded the wing for a new 2015 f6b same color as the old one matt silver. its feels good to be back

welcome back....what brought you back to the "B"? What did you not like about the full Goldwing?

Just curious...

Same here...although I like the look of the B more than the full Wing...now, if they offered a Wing with a detachable trunk that looked like an F6B when it was off...:icon_biggrin:

First off Mark glad you are ok.and back.
Secondly could you give us some information about the insurance company and and how they handled it.
I paid full price for my b and now with prices so low I think they would take advantage of the situation.
I hit a deer going to work in November with car and the insurance company dropped the ball several times i had to get my agent involved several times to get them on it.
I don't have an agent for b I bought my policy online through dairy land.
I myself had a deer run and head butt my ribs a few years back and i went to er to make sure i didn't break a rib or anything else well I got a nice bill state farm does not cover the rider so bye bye state farm.

Goldwing cramped seating position you cant move, f6b u sit back farther and lower the f6b feels way more nimble I could have bought a new seat for the wing but I love the looks of the f6b better

Mark, I'm glad your insurance didn't go up but it shouldn't have. Hitting a deer should be a comp claim and not an at fault accident. I lost my Valk Interstate to hitting a deer doing 67mph a yr ago last June. That's what led me to the "B". For the record, I got 11, 800 for my 99Valk with 83,000 miles on it. Before anyone says that's impossible, I got 5000 paid for my accessories because I had a rider that covered that much. There is no depreciation on accessories. I had all my receipts and submitted them. I then negotiated 6700 for the bike itself after they initially lowballed me with a 4600 offer. They also will pay your sales tax and license on your new bike (sales tax only up to the value of the totalled bike). So folks, it pays to have an accessory rider (costs very little) that covers the entire amount of add-ons you have.
