Handlebar Risers

Is it possible to install the risers reversed with the shims.

Hondo,
I believe that one member had in fact installed the MBL risers "backwards" successfully and it kicked the handlebars "out" more than "back."

I think he switched them left for right.
I tried it and liked them wider.
