I spent 4 summers teaching ROTC Cadets, how to load, fire, and clear the weapon. Had 4 classes in the morn, and 4 in the afternoon. Each cadet got a 25 round belt of ammo. The "scared" looks on their faces still makes me laugh, today!

I have had quite a lot of time behind Ma deuces. :biggthumpup:

Nothing quite so mesmerizing as taking all of the tracers out of belts of M2 APIT, and putting them in a belt of their own, and shooting them at the Santa Anna mountains. :icon_wink:

I had the position of forward gunner on a PBR in Vietnam for 2 years. The forward mount is 2 Ma Deuce tied together. They also had the barrels rifled opposite twists. One right hand, one left hand. Sure steadied the big boy down. Long live Ma Deuce!

I feel for you. I recently escaped from RI. No where as bad as CA, but all class III is illegal there. Now I have a short barrel machine gun with a suppressor. I call it my triple FU.
