What's wrong with the web site now?

New posts no longer appear when the "New Post" tab is clicked on

Hey, I just moved the site to a new server yesterday. Everything is still coming back online.

All instances have to be reloaded and it takes time.

When I post an additional thread to an existing thread it does not go to the top of the page when I hit "New Posts"

I tried this twice and no joy?

Any thoughts?

Just clicked on the "new Posts " and it sent me to a tab that said there are no knew posts since you last visit...click HERE to see new posts and THEN it shows the new posts.....

When i sign on and hit new posts thats is what I would like to see as we did before. Anyone else having this issue. I believe John is also...

Same here, Steve.
I also liked that the "cache" of new posts stayed in that window even when read.

I think the forum software defaults to the current configuration and SimTech needs to move a switch to get it the way we're used to seeing it.
Understandably, that's low on the priority list until he gets the attachments/picture issue sorted.

Fixed the new post issue. What's new and New Post now show like it used to.

Mrjava, the misc.php runs a script to find out you're online and report it back so your friend's list can populate.

It is understandable that avast or other firewalls may call attention to it. But I just went through the code and verified it is all as it should be. Safe.

Still working on attachments. I know y'all are frustrated, but I am trudging through it.

I never had a "New Post" issue until it was "fixed" yesterday. Now I get a list of posts labeled "These posts have not been updated since your last visit." If they haven't been updated then why are they showing up when I click on the"New Post" tab :icon_rolleyes:

Might be a cache/cookie issue.....
I assume you've restarted your browser?

To my knowledge, SimTech has not resolved the attachment issues yet.
Which includes uploading pics and accessing pics previously uploaded, as well as pics that were previously in posts.

My efforts are minimal compared to SimTech.
I try and keep the peace without too much gunplay.
SimTech has to deal with the software.....

When you go to the site, it "seems to load and nothing appears"?
My Moto does that too - here's the fix:
once it loads, press the 3 dots in the upper right corner and touch "Request Desktop Site" from the pull down menu.
