You can purchase an extension (approx 6") from some of the sponsoring vendors. Works great and keeps the little lady happy.

This one doesn't adjust up and down. It sets the rest 3" higher. There is one that is adjustable, I just need to find it. I believe it adjusts in 1" increments.

Show chrome does and I have one but think the OEM looks better.

I called Honda of Russellville this morning about the extension and parts had never heard of it.???
