You can no longer send photos to this site free, you have to pay quite a bit a year for 3rd party hosting.

What did you put in after the share button?

In PB click on image you want and to the right is share this photo with several choices. The lowest choice is IMG and a box to the right with a long URL address. I copy that then and then paste in here:

If you go to the "F6B Rack" posting, the PB images I put up are gone, and in it's place is the box that takes me to PB to upgrade to 3rd Party Hosting. It's $399 per friggin' year to put YOUR PB photos on forums, etc. If you guys have not paid the ransom money, and are posting pics today, what's the catch? PB apparently "followed" my IMG over here to this forum and zapped 'em......................................I'll try one here to see if it shows up..................

Well i posted a photo 2 days ago , it worked. Now when i log in to photobucket and try to upload it sends me back to log in. Was using ipad, maybee apple is imune to following the bot? Anyway just use imgur. Still free i think.

This is still a work around though. I'm not understanding where the repair bottleneck is.

I don't pay anything for this service so my expectations are limited. Suffice to say that I've received far more than I've ever given here and I'm thankful. But it would be good to know if this is a balance sheet issue and the site is simply winding down.

I know PM's are extremely active here, but have I missed a memo? :shrug:

Maybe they just have not got to me yet. But in my library of pictures I left click on the picture I want and it changes pages and starts thinking but does not display, I do not wait on the display. To the right side it says "SHARE THIS PHOTO" 4th one down is "IMG" and a box to the right with a very long URL. I copy the long URL and paste it here. How about a bacon cheese burger:

For free you can also put an ad o on Craigs List then right click picture and copy properties address and past here. It will be a link rather than a picture but not hard for people to take a look.

Now I'm miffed. If you copied the IMG and pasted it here, it shouldn't have shown up, or at least vanished after a few seconds. The IMG is the 4th one down in the box. Left clicking copies it. But it won't show when pasted here for long. Is the bacon burger from PB?

You have to be a logged in member to see it. Have you tried another image from PB to post here similar to the bacon burger? I tried your method but it did not work. Copying the IMG box does nothing but give the upgrade box when you paste it ANYWHERE! PB has basically done the same thing that happened in Greece. Just stop by the bank in Athens and the bank is closed until further notice. Sorry that we have locked you out of attempting to withdraw your funds but those funds now belong to us. We will let you know how much money you have in OUR account but you will not have access to those funds, maybe forever. Oh, and sorry we didn't inform you earlier that we were going to lock you out of access to your funds (i.e. photos). We will withdraw $399 from your account PER YEAR so you can have access to your crap. We discovered that all of the ad revenue and ad pop-ups just wasn't enough money in our bank so we figured out a way to extort it from our users. Have a nice day Photobucket Dumb Ass Users.
