The bike was all personality 88 cu. in. that didn't generate so much heat, I put beach bars on it and a Saddlemen Seat and that was it. The removable windscreen let all that air through on local rides. Wasn't a rocket but that wasn't the reason I bought it, not how fast you go but how you go. I'd post a pic but I refuse to go through the hoops of uploading offsite then bringing it back. One of these days they'll get up off their asses and fix this, no offense Tony :icon_biggrin: Traded that in for the 2010 Street Glide which was kind of bland, traded that in for the blowtorch 103 cu. in. Road Glide Custom. Beautiful bike, Big Blue Pearl paint job, but the HEAT ruined it all so I traded that in, with 4500 miles on it, for my all time favorite the F6B.

tough to say. like choosing your favorite child. but based on amount of time and memories of my late wife (she is in the picture too!) i would have to say my 03 Vrod.

at least until i have more time on the f6b. then things might change

In the late 60s. I was quite the nerd but thought I was cool. The girls did take notice a little I guess.

Did that bike come like that or are you a chromeaholic?

Sorry don't have a picture handy, but my favorite bike was my 99 Valkyrie Tourer in black...Traded it for an 1800 VTXF3 which was my next favorite and now my current F6B is my number one choice....Ride safe

My thoughts are that my favorite bike changed as my own age changed and my ability to afford different bikes changed. Some of my favorites were my Honda 1978 CB750K, Honda V65 Sabre, Honda 2005 VTX1800F3, Honda ST1300, and of course my Goldwing.

In order for me to answer this question correctly, you need to pick a year between 1977-2017.

My obsession evolves from year to year. 'riding'

I think my favorite was my KZ1300. I had the one with a huge fairing with lots of packing room in it. The beast ran hot (hot enough to boil fuel in the tank). Besides the 120hp, it was unique. I never saw another like it on the road.

Wish we could post pics!!

Are your pics in Photosuckit.....oops, I mean Photobucket? If not, you can post here from Imgur, Flickr, etc.

Here you go:

Are you referring to the Imgur link? If so, after you upload your image to Imgur, you've created an album (you can also go to images ....it's under your user name). Go to that image, hover with the and an arrow is in the upper left hand corner. Hit that arrow that is pointing V, and a box will show that says GET SHARE LINKS. Hit that and another box appears that has the BBCode box. Hit COPY with a left click. Then come over here, hit REPLY, it will come to the YOUR MESSAGE area where you PASTE that BBCode. Hit Save Changes and the photo should appear in your posting page. We await your images.................

UPDATE: Just realized that if you hit IMAGES under your name, all of the photos you have uploaded will appear. When you left click an image, it will appear and ALL of the codes appear on the right. Just hit the BBCode box to copy and paste over here. IF you hit ALBUM under your name, then the above paragraphs procedure applies. Try both and you'll see the difference. The BBCode is the one that allow images to appear on forums, etc.

I think I loved them all. What stands out right now is my 67 Norton Atlas 750. Any Honda 750 could outrun it in a straight line but in the twisties I was King ! My 1980 XS11 was a great bike and brought me into 'touring'.
Then my 1000F Honda Hurricane and Finally my F6B. I might be done...yeah right...

I miss my DL650.. it was a great commuter.

I put a lot of money into it to make it better. Someone always gets a good deal from me after I trade them in for another... story of my motorcycling life... :icon_rolleyes:

Would have to be my Valkyrie. Sometimes think about picking up another just to play with.

Most of the chrome came on the Valkyrie, there are about 4 or five add ons.

I had to post this image of the Road King, that was the day I was trading it in at the dealer. Am I the only one that feels bad when you have to leave your old buddy at the dealer and ride away on a stranger.

Not at all. I figure the 2013 RGU I had that was a bit of a lemon was carma for trading in my well worked over FXDL and a perfectly good RGX that had both been rock solid, one for 32k miles and the other for 24k miles. Nothing wrong with them when traded in either. What a dumbass.

I have never had a bike I didn't like but the only models I have bought more than once are Gold Wings and Norton Commandos.
Can't compare the two since they are so different from each other. Currently own one of each and are my favorites for now.

Nope. I felt guilty as hell when I left my Triumph Rocket 3 and my Victory Vision at the dealer; when I rode away on my F6B. Almost felt half as bad, as losing a pet. :icon_frown:

Probably my 04 GSX600. So far, I'm really liking my Goldwing though.

I liked my 1982 Suzuki GS650S a lot. It was my first bike; I paid $400 for it and it needed very little work. I squeezed 11,000 miles out of it while learning to ride. I am sure the great price I got on it along with it being the first bike I owned is probably weighing in its favor.

That air-cooled inline four was one smooooooth running engine. Had to rev it a bit to get into the power, but it was as smooth or smoother than the Honda flat-6.

I can't compare it to the F6B...the only thing they have in common is two wheels and a handlebar.
