Sorry to bother but don't want to order the wrong part. Do I need a 1 inch or a 1 1/4 inch highway bar peg for my 16 F6B?? I see different sites saying different things??? Thanks!

Pretty sure you need 1 inch.

Take a look at the Wingstuff site, they have several options for hiway pegs. http://wingstuff.com/products/36912-comfort-peg-w-heel-rest

Take a look at the Rivco switchblade type pegs. I just put a 2000 mile trip on mine and I was very pleased. Also, they look like part of the original F6B.

I know what you mean - they would be better if they were spring loaded to close a short time after use. I like them but worry I might break them if I dropped the bike on the lawn or such. I had Mick O'Pegs on my GW but they're pretty clunky looking. If I ever break my Rivco I'll go back to Mick.

Thanks to the forum, I'm aware and make darn sure I have them closed when stopping. I rarely use them anyway, but it's ingrained in my mind.
