View Full Version : PA Route 6, 9/15 - 17

I know Bob has posted this ride before, but with my schedule it never has worked out for me to meet anyone in the area since joining the forum.
So I'm going to be riding Route 6, leaving my house Friday in Abbottstown PA, near York and Gettysburg. Will be riding through for the weekend, plan on riding up near Route 6 and staying the night at a hotel, then Saturday riding the route. Probably spend another night somewhere and then head home on Sunday.
Anyone interested let me know, would be glad to meet up with some of you guys, but used to riding solo.
Lets see what happens.

Sunday is my only free day this weekend. I don't know where you'd be at 10:00-10:30 am, but that's the only time I could be out there.

As a sideline to this post, I'm taking the last week of this month off. Can't do a lot, but day trips are in my plans ???

I'll probably be on the east side of RT. 6 near Scranton PA on Sunday morning, looking at your profile are you coming from Mass?
I can meet up with you and ride back west for a while, then head south to home before too late. PM me if your interested. Tim

I'm in for this Sunday ride.....anyone else? Once again, it has to be a one day thing for me.

Oh, and I quit my job today....that vacation week may not happen.

I have to back out of this ride. I apologize. I just found out I'm without health insurance and don't feel comfortable on a distance ride right now. I rarely do this but not feeling great mentally either, and a trip like this could be a bad thing.

Sorry forgot. Daughter and granddaughter got released from hospital today was a busy day.
