Does anyone know if Madstad is still in business after all of the bad weather in Florida? I have called several times to discuss placing an order but just get "voice-mailed" and no response. Wondering if they are that busy or if they got flooded out? Anyone been in contact or got an order from them after the hurricanes?

I placed an order with them the week before Irma hit. It took a couple weeks after but once they got back in the building it was shipped out promptly. All in all about three weeks to get it. Well worth it in my opinion.

Yes. They had issues during the storm(s), but I've received replacement parts since then.

I was at their shop a week ago they fitted me with a 11" medium tint shield. This product works great, will take a little while to get use to the look.

Thanks I will try to contact them tomorrow.:icon_biggrin: TimH, you got the 11 inch...how tall are you. I am trying to decide between the 11" vs the 13"

I am 5'10"; 30" inseam stock seat, for now.

They are ugly but work great.

+1, but... once you get used to it, itโ€™s kind of a cool, industrial aggressive look that really does compliment the bike. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Good news for those that want a Madstad. Got a call from both Blair, Tech Support and Pattie, Sales, first thing this morning. They were without power for two weeks but are now catching up with orders. Maybe a week out.:clap2:

I am 5'9" with 30" inseam
I started with the 11" in the lowest position, I slouch a bit so at times the top of the shield was in my line of vision. I am planning on a seat that will lower me by 1" so I swapped to a 9". The folks at madstad are great to work with and I have an advantage of being only a few hours from their shop.

Thanks Timh When I was talking to Blair, he remembered that someone with the F6 just bought the 11".l

Impressive that they remember customers and what they bought.

I am ordering mine tomorrow...will be getting the 11 inch also.
