Nice pics. Which highway pegs are those? Do you like them?

Ergos, I like them OK. I rest the back of my calf on top when I want to stretch my left knee. My right knee never gets tired so only have the left side peg mounted.

I love my F6B too. I 'm waiting for the Lone Star Rally, maybe find more goodies.

11 inch and clear in the middle setting, I'm 6' 2" and look well over but still have good wind protection.

Darkest shade Madstad possible.
If I have to see it through the windscreen - it's already too late and time to use "the force."

I love Isleen.

Steve, why do you have a tapered screw for a fairing badge? Is there a story behind that? :shhh:

Google: HMH-462 "Screw Crew"

I was with them from 87-94, as AdminO, Quality Assurance O, Avionics O (Gulf War), then as Asst AircraftMaintenance Officer; then again from 98-2002 as Maintenance Officer, Operations Officer, then Executive Officer.

Lots of my "policies" from my first tour were still in place during my second tour with them.
Cheers,
Steve

Wait, that Helicopter is a decepticon. Does that mean 53 is a bot?

I originally thought the 7-bladed 3-engined version was a CH-54, but Google helped me out -- that's the sky crane.
Those are some big beasts. We had one break down @ Kirtland when I was stationed there, I got to walk through it. Awesome machine.

I worked on 2-engined six-bladed MH-53J's and CH-53's (A's?) in the AF. I believe your version is the CH-53E Super Stallion, no?

As excited as I am about how great the new Goldwing appears, I have to say how much I love the F6b. It really is an impressive and dynamic motorcycle. I'm really looking forward to the new DCT, but even on the current model, the transmission has such a wide expression. If you follow Honda's recommended shift pattern(2nd at 12 mph, 3rd at 19, etc.) the bike has such a relaxed and poised feel. It doesn't rage like an animal, but it doesn't lack power anywhere, either. Then again, if you want to take advantage of the 6000 rpm redline and all the available torque, it can get just about as primal as you like and it's instantly available. Add that to the fact that every time I want to go pick up some chicken tenders and a gallon of tea, they will easily fit in a side bag, and I'm like a kid at Christmas. What a time to be alive.
