traded my F6 for an 1800A

wanted to get a set of LEDs for the highbeams....

saw these on ebay, but couldn't believe they would be as good as the EC $106.99 version from wingstuff

wow, is this suspiciously identical !shot his foot

these were $19.95 (free shipping) on ebay

the only things missing are the two aluminum spacers, got 2 bakelite spacers for $5.99 (total package ready to install $24.99)

Let us know how they last. Heck of a deal even if you had to buy 2 sets for every 1 of the EC,

I doubt you get much more riding in than I do between now and April tho

I was wanting to try LED's but balked at the cost of $100+.
Let us know how they work out.
Wouldn't mind trying this route if you give a thumbs up on them.
How did you find spacer sizes???

Where did you get the spacers? Update on install please.

BTW, I purchased 3 sets of LED H11 lights for $24.95 each set on eBay for my wife's T&C van's headlights, brights and fog lights. The difference was unbelievable. I am kicking myself for not doing it earlier. I have an Acura with factory LED lights and they are similar.

I was was thinking of doing the same with the bike but wasn't sure if a spacer was needed and where to get the spacers if needed.

Cree LEDs, sold on ebay seems to make a very good LED at a very fair price. I brought a pair of fog & a pair of spots for my V-Strom. Tough, great looking & give off a good light.

Just so you know Cree does not make lights. They make the LED diode the light bulb factories use in the bulbs. There are high quality bulbs that use Cree diodes and there are low quality bulbs that use Cree. I by LED bulbs from Ebay too. I have had good luck with most but have had a couple fail.
