I like them. Cycle world did a nice review. http://www.cycleworld.com/2013/05/15/2014-honda-ctx700-ctx700n-first-ride-review-photos-specs/ Not super exciting but sounds like a great overall bike. It would look good next to the F6B. You can see the family resemblence and they look good with bags.

That fairing looks much better with the taller windscreen than with the short one on the 1300cc that was posted a little bit ago.

Does your wife have a sister? :icon_wink:

I've had my 6 since June and my wife hasn't been on it once. I think she misses my HD. She wasn't the one waiting on it at the shop all the time. :icon_frown:

Jake, there are some good deals to be had on the 2013 model of this same bike, as they are waiting for the 2014 model year bikes to arrive at the dealerships. I was just at my favorite Honda dealer today...South Bound Honda, Lakewood, WA., catching a glimpse of my bike in their service dept, and I noticed that they have two of these CTX700 bikes on the showroom floor. If you were to work out a deal to buy one here...I will drive up to the airport, SeaTac airport, just south of Seattle, and pick you up. Then drive you to the South Bound Honda dealer, and you could ride the bike home.

GOOD deals can be had on 2013 models...right now.

In fact, I will sweeten the deal. If you do buy from this dealer...and fly out here to ride the bike back home (which is a good break-in ride for the new bike), I will personally escort you back to the land of sunshine and oranges, with me riding on my electrically energized F6B.

Electrically energized? Are you sure you don't mean Electra-Fried!

Well, make the deal now, as my bike will probably be back on the road in the next day or two. By the time you do the deal, and arrange to fly out here, I will have 1000 miles on that new odometer of mine.

Thanks Miles, checked out there website but the 2013 has a 4 inch higher seat hight Sandy couldn't touch the ground 32.5 on the 13 + 28.5 on the 14.
This goes back to what u first told me that there's girls up there named Sandy.

Jake, I see by the specs sheets that you are indeed correct. That is a big change from one year to the next. They do claim the 2014 is an all NEW bike.
Actually, the seat height drops 4.4 inches from a 2013 model to a 2014 model. That is a lot.

Okay, I rescind my offer to ride with you from WA to FL.:icon_mrgreen:

It's crazy that they would make take big a change but they did.

My first thought was that an all new bike will hurt the value of the 2013's. My second thought is that on a 2013, we weren't being test pilots on something brand new from the ribber up. I probably wouldn't have bought my F6B if it wasn't on a tried and true platform. At my age, I don't have all that many years to mess around while a manufacturer sorts out new model problems.

Ah......BRUCE...Jake and I are talking about the Honda CTX700... and the differences between the 2013 model year versus the 2014 model year.

So Honda offers ABS in the US on this model, but not the F6?
