First let me say that I will not be producing these to sale. Once I have a design nailed down, I will send the file to anyone that wants to have one cut at a manufacturing facility of their choice.

Now that thats out of the way, pleas let me know what you think. The overall dimension is the same as the MP3 rack.

260042600526006The material is 3/16 and she will weigh in at 4.9 lbs. The 2D drawing shows my pieces underneath that the 3D model doesn’t show. These will be welded on, will keep the bolt heads from sticking up higher than the rack and will also let water drain rather than stand and rust.

Because the forum doesn't support pic hosting. I used https://postimg.org to host the pics and then copied the link into the post. Easy peasy.

Wow! That's really nice looking!

I might suggest a little more metal support in the lettering to hold up in real life. Way cool! :yes:

Thanks! It actually has more thickness than it looks. I don’t have the exact number but I think it was around .100- .125. That’s just going off memory though. With .187 thick material it will not be an issue.

Now there is a rack even I would buy....nice job, can't wait to see it powder coated and on a black F6B steed.:icon_biggrin:

I LOVE THE DESIGN. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE FILE WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED. GREAT JOB. WHAT IS THE MP3 RACK YOU REFERENCE.
