Was always curious and wondering; if it would fit in the rear of the saddlebag as advertised. I did a lot of measuring and even made a cardboard mockup of it... but proof is with getting on my hands on the real McCoy.

Some interior bodywork in the upper rear of the saddlebag does keep it from fitting completely into that slanted rear area, but it's occupying about 87 percent of that space; at a slight angle. One gallon of liquid insurance in case I'm on a trip and pull into a closed gas station while the beast is thirsty...

I always carry one esp on long trips where the recon is a bit fuzzy.
It fits the HD purrfect and the F6 so so

87 percent exactly. Today. However... dependent upon involved material(s) expansion due to ambient temperature changes and barometric pressure, that percentage could readjust accordingly. :icon_wink:

That little Hagerstown event was quite hilarious, regarding unavailability of gas (at least in that section of town). :icon_lol: Funniest part was your expressed exasperation via the Sena’s :shhh:

Just wanted to pick up a little spare jug.... for travel to the Rally events we have planned for next year. :icon_wink:
