I picked up a Zumo 395 on Black Friday for the best price all year. I was browsing for inexpensive farkles for the new year and I saw that the 590/595 has a hard plastic weather cover you can snap in place when you take the GPS out of the holder for only $10. Garmin does not sell one for the 395.

I know the pinout for connections is different but are the clamping parts the same dimensions.

Thanks in advance.

The cover for the 590/595 is about 2x3 inches and fits the mount perfectly dimension wise. Top and bottom have a small curvature toward the outside edges. The release is activated at the top right of mount and controls/releases four pins at the top of mount that hold both the cover and the unit in place. The bottom is wedged in place. It is quick release. I do not know about the 395 but it is very different from the 550 I use to have.

a baggie and an elastic band will have to do. LOL
