Replace the reflectors on the covers that on the brake calipers.
I am guessing that all is needed is replace them then run
wires up to mirror connections with adapters. Am I right on this?

Turn reflectors into lights, I would think power is all you need. http://wingstuff.com/products/34934-gloss-black-led-front-reflector-conversion?context=lights_electrical-f6b

Kury makes a set for the wing. Mine came w/ them. The R. burned out, signals went wacky. I found a bad Kury adapter / connector in the mirror wiring. The previous owner zip tied the wires to the brake hoses, followed them up into the cowling. Don't know where else you could put them, It looks good. If somebody else makes them, check 'em out & please let me know.

I started out with the Kuryakyn LED Reflector Conversions. They work great and look good.
Took them of when the Lighted LED Fork Cover (http://store.valueaccessories.net/ChromeForkCoversGL1800.aspx)s came out from Add On Accessories.
Those look and work great also.

The only thing you really have to do when installing either is put a quick disconnect in the line so it can be unplugged locally. I have a link to a couple that we use. Running the wires neatly with the hydraulic lines is the way to go.
