Any experience or advice on brand/types of under mirror mounted wind deflectors for F6B? Some reviews are critical of deflectors not staying in position at higher speeds, etc.? Also, is that the area to install deflectors (under mirrors) to mitigate wind buffeting? I replaced original shorty windshield with higher Cee Bailey that works very well. Thanks.

I have the National Cycle mirror wings . They work very well to adjust the breeze in the cockpit. They also adjust using a ratcheting system that works good."coffee"

I have Baker Hand Wings and love them. I'm fairly certain they do a good job of mitigating wind buffeting only because when I "open" them, there is a strong flow of air to my head/chest area. I had mine on during some serious crosswinds in Wyoming last year and they stayed put just fine.

National Cycle
I just installed mine last Saturday (less than 20 minutes) took a 150 mile ride and love them. They really reduce the wind at the grips to almost nothing allowing the heated grips to work much better.
Had the bike up over 100 in the “closed” position and no movement.
Great investment IMHO.

National Cycle here too. Work great and hold their position where you set them.

Baked Hand Wings keeps the cold draft from my hands in winter and keeps the cool breeze at my chest in the summer.

I'm always ready to add some do da to this bike to make it more to my liking and these sound pretty good. Today took a ride and using my hand I could not feel any air flow to amount to much coming under the rearviews. I also do not experience any turbulence at all with this Mastad so having a problem justifying the purchase. No wind problem to solve but maybe as Taxfree says it could put some cooling air onto me in the summer time, that would be welcome when the temps are in the 90s here. I will reevaluate when the weather gets warmer.

You cannot "simulate" the effect of Baker Hand wings with your hand(s).

Quit being cheap and just buy and install them. Believe me, you thank me. There is a very noticeable difference when using them with the Madstad.

Anybody using Perfect Ride Hand Guards? What is your opinion of them?

OK If I decide to get a set, I'm thinking the Baker Built from Wing Stuff. They have both a New Gen and the smaller originals. I like the smaller ones and in clear (my shield is clear) and they offer black hardware. Most places I've found do not offer clear plastic or black hardware. It does feel like more wind comes in over the mirrors than below and I already have the Go Pro mount under the left side wo will have to find a new place for that.

Speaking of hot sauce I use the Mega Death, 550K on the scoville hot enough for a nice kick in the pants but not scorching, depending on how much you use of course.

The computer does it automatically so I'm typing away and only realize it after I post it. Sort of like Anthony Weiner after he sent the pictures of his schmeckel thinking he was sending it to one person and wound up sending it to the world.
