Anyone planning on attending in a few weeks? I might putt down and see a couple of my old SoCal friends. Hotels are a rip off during these events but it's usually a cool setting as long as you can avoid the gunfire.

Not this year, but went several years as a spring ride from Colorado in the mid-2000s. Always a crap shoot leaving Colorado in the spring—might be beautiful or the passes/mountains might be getting spring snow. Always beautiful once we got more south. Great time of the year for riding the SW.

We enjoyed Laughlin back then. We stayed at one of the big casino hotels as so convenient. Some good riding, and we’d take the water taxi sometimes also.

Yep, $30 rooms go for $300 during that weekend.

He's not far off. Dives in Needles are 100.00 a night. My overnight will be in Cortez which is nice. A few months early for the rally.

Kingman, AZ is another option with a few more choices in hotels.
