This not to bash or criticize different choices from your own but for the question "what do you use". Hopefully a few will participate in this little questionnaire just for fun: Take your footwear and apply a "1" for flip flops, a "2" for sneakers, "3" for boots, and a "4 for armored boots. Then pants, a "1" for shorts, a "2" for jeans, "3" for reinforced jeans or with chaps and "4" for armor. Next is your upper torso, a "1" for T-shirt, "2" for light jacket, "3" for leather & gloves, and "4" for armor. Last is your lid, "1" helmet free, "2" for a half, "3" for a 3/4 and a "4" for a full. How about two set of numbers, one for hot weather and one for cooler temps? Mine would be 2212 and 3234. Things do vary sometimes so on average.

4444+4444. It’s what’s under the gear that changes for me.

Winter Riding - 4444
Summer Riding 4443 or 4434 depending on Texas hot or Texas Wet.
I ride in all weather every day...so it's either 3/4 helmet dry and hot or full modular when it's wet, armored unless it's rainy, then it's helite airbag vest and rainsuit.

3234 mostly. Sometimes I wear a leather vest if it is hot instead of my leather jacket. I also have an armored jacket that I wear on the Fz1 but is uncomfortable on the B.

3242, 3244....even though I'm pictured in a tee, that's extremely rare for me. It was near 90 down on the Dragon. Last Summer here in New England, I always wore the armor jacket, 100%.

I know what you mean, heat can chance things. At times I have been 4244. Rode a no windshield bike today and I can't use a half helmet on it so it is 1 or 4 and I was 2211.

Cold/Winter/Stormy - 4444
General - 4224
During the winter months, when I'm home, I wear full armored gear. Once the weather warms up I run much lighter gear unless the forecast shows good chance of really bad weather. Once the winter bite leaves the air I switch to a Draggin Shirt and light rain gear as needed. I'm looking at getting the Draggin Pants for my next off station so I can still enjoy wearing short but not drive a car when doing so.
