I picked up my new 2016 F6B Deluxe at Honda of Russellville at the end of March 2017. I have a thing for Orange and Black bikes (my high school colors were O&B), so I had the matte silver painted Jupiter Orange Metallic (2003 Gold Wing color) before I picked it up. They did a great job with the paint and I am very pleased one year and 6700 miles later. When I purchased the bike I knew that I would make a few additions/changes, but the list has gotten much longer than I ever expected. Only things that I might add in the future are a different seat (RDL, Corbin [had one on my FJR1300], or Ultimate), and Garmin 395LM with TPMS. Several week-long trips planned this summer with friends -- should be lots of fun!!!!

My additions over the last year:

Ergo III Cruising Pegs Black
Gorilla 9000 Alarm (mounted in right fairing near cruise control unit)
Clearview Medium Sport Tour Dark Windshield with Vent and recurve (great for me; looks great also)

Put on a TAKA LRS 11" Windshield for a year -- was too short, but still nice
Baker Hand (Mirror) Wings New Generation
Grip Puppies
Sena SR10 Bluetooth in left cubby; CB PTT button on left grip
Sena 20S EVO Headsets
HJC IS33 II NIRO 3/4 Helmet
Midland 75-822 CB in left cubby
Firestik II 2-ft FS-2BK CB antenna in place of OEM radio antenna (works great)

OEM radio antenna laying flat under rear top cover/seat
Mpow Ground Loop Noise Isloator (3.5mm)
Electrical Connection Battery Connection Extenders
Wiring for Battery Tender and Gerbings
Hyperlites 32 LED Running/Brake Lights
Dual LED License Plate Frame Running/Brake Lights
Pathfinder LED replacement tail/brake lights
Show Chrome Black Belly Pan
Saddlebag Carpet Kit
Saddlebag Liner Set (not used)
2-port USB Auxilliary Power in left cubby (switched)
2-port USB Auxilliary Power in left saddlebag (unswitched)
Slime Tire Plug Kit
Slime 4001 Compact Air Compressor
SanDisk Cruzer CZ33 32G USB for MP3 in Right Saddlebag
Zumo 550 GPS wired for auto power on from under left cubby

F6B audio connected to AUX on SR10
Magnetic Oil Plug
Kuryakyn XKursion XTR4.0 Seat/Rack Bag
Replacement covers for clean removal of passenger backrest

Painted Jupiter Orange Metallic to match bike
Black radio knob keys for Saddlebags and Gaslid/center cubby
CRUZ compact took kit (modified)
Tresalto Auto Trim Removal Tools (5pc)
First Aid Kit (modified)
Aspen Back Brace
Butler Cup
Service Manual

If I see that B on the road, I'll know it's you for sure. Russellville has always had some great aftermarket paint jobs and yours is one of the best looking.

Thanks. Am looking forward to the gathering in Cortez and meeting you and others. Should be a fun time.

I wish I had those replacement covers. Honda doesn't make them in matte white, and I'm not paying someone to paint the non white ones...

Nice bike and it reminds me of mine in a way..Had mine painted Brandywine Candy Red by House of Colors before I purchased it...Looks great in the sunshine!!..All those "extras" are nice, but unfortunately do not add one dime to the re-sale value of the bike, so enjoy them while you can...Ride safe

All of the "extras" were added for my enjoyment; nothing about my bike was done with a "re-sale" consideration. I'll ride it until it dies, I die, or I just give it up from old age. I loved my 2002 Wing and enjoyed it for 154,000+ miles. I'd still be riding it except for an accident.

That Brandywine Candy Red is beautiful. Ride it as much as you can opas.

".All those "extras" are nice, but unfortunately do not add one dime to the re-sale value of the bike, so enjoy them while you can".

Isn't that a nice thing to say to a guy who is obviously proud of his bike and wants to share with the group.

Was thinking the same thing. Beautiful bike F6Bster and even better that you have made it yours with the extras you like. The backgrounds you are using are quite beautiful also. Hope to meet you in Cortez.

Nothing negative was meant about F6Bster's "extras" on his bike as I have lot of "bucks" added to mine....Which I also enjoy, or wanted, and was willing to pay for. I have had mine for almost 4 1/2 years now and plan to keep it as I just turned 78 years old a couple months back ..Sorry if anyone took my comments as negative, as we all know adding extra "bling" does nothing to add dollar value to the bike....Owner satisfaction and riding enjoyment are paramount above re-sale value in most cases...Regards and ride safe

I enjoy heating my house, adds comfort, and I probably won't get any of that money back in resale either.

F6Bster, that's a lot of stuff! I am not sure I can remember all of the things I have added to mine. Let's try:

-Angrystad windshield
-Ram Mount
-3-n-1 fog / turn signal / running lights
-Corbin seat (currently ordered)
-Baker Hand wings

Oh, never mind, forgot all this stuff is in my signature!

Wish List:

-Remote saddlebag lock release
-Some sort of highway peg, probably Mick-O-Pegs
-Possibly a Corbin backrest, depending upon how the seat feels
-Garmin GPS with satellite radio (if they ever come down in price, sheesh)
-Some sort of cruise control option

I did not plan to add much. Wanted to add safety and comfort. It adds up quickly. My riding friends all have CB's, so I had to figure out a way to do that. Took a little trial and error, but it works really well. Being able to communicate on trips is great for safety, and for the additional rest stops that are necessary now that we're all older.
