I live in Southeast Michigan and have had many good years here, until now...My F6B has been sitting in the garage since last November 12th with only 1 day of weather decent enough to take a short ride..Talk about frustation about now, but I know many have had similiar weather days...I looked at the new 2018 Goldwing Tour last month and my wife said, "what the heck for" you have not ridden your current bike for almost 5 months!!!....I am keeping up hope that one day soon I might be able to ride again before I get to old to care!!!....Regards and ride safe, those that can.....

We’ve had a very dry winter here in Colorado, and it has been one of the windiest I’ve ever seen. Already quite a few scattered wildfires east of the front range. This current storm passed mostly north of us with only a dusting of snow here. I rode ~150 miles on Wednesday (my riding buddies each got in ~250). Good time with temps 55-80 depending on the elevation.

It looks like this coming week will be cooler and perhaps a little moisture. Will probably turn nasty when we should be out riding more.

Just got back in from blowing snow for the second time today. 1 1/2 hours this time, 8-9 inches with 18” drifts. It’s still snowing. Leaving next Friday for Arkansas, on the bike.

Yeah, but, once the weather warms up, what about the roads?? SE Michigan is low on drivable roads, I'm buying stock in the company that makes the orange barrels.

Well, I guess it's a tad better here in Mass. I just got my bike unwrapped and ready to go yesterday. Others have been riding here and there, but I've delayed things for a bit. Today however, it's only going to be in the 30's. This week coming it will only get to the mid 40 - 50's with a lot of rainy days. I said last week that I won't ride until May this year.

We got 10 plus inchs of very wet snow last night with another 10-13 inches today and another 2 inches tomorrow. And it is very windy.
At least it's not very cold out. (about 28*)

Freezing rain and about 1/2" ice here near Rochester, NY.

I put 230 miles on in February and one day in March...looks like 0 will happen in April!

I have been using the time to finish installing my fog lights, Baker hand wings, change out the front tire, soon to install a heated Corbin seat. When not riding, I become a Wing Stuff and Value Accessories addict.

Not riding has become more expensive than riding!!

Its not like its the first time we had to sit out another day. Wife made me a nice setup where I sit on a motorcycle seat with handlebars mounted to the a computer desk and watch videos of last years rides I took.
So lets keep that sense of humor were known for. Its coming. Get all the spring choirs done early. Drive to your local watering holes wearing all your riding gear and keep that seat warm. It won't be long now. And hope the wife doesn't remember that promise you made to fix the roof the next nice day we have.
Oh crap, it just started raining here. Temp is 40 degree. Have to take another chill pill.

The last few years I've got the bike out by mid March or at least by the end of March. Not this year, but things are looking up for next weekend. Hopefully my new Ultimate seat is here by then.

I have a 20 HP Simplicity garden tractor and a few weeks ago I took the snowblower off because a part needed to be welded. Now I am to bullheaded to put it back on. But with this storm I am using my 25 year old little 4.5 HP Toro.
The storm is winning.

Can't beat those Toro's, Jack. That's what I use, but my driveway is only 90ft. long.

I'm sad for you guys up north. Gotta really love riding to just have a few months to ride. The wind has been blowing like crazy in North Texas but our bikes handle the wind so well I've been riding regularly. Getting ready to load my cameras to shoot a baseball game tonight.

The wind has been blowing like crazy in North Texas but our bikes handle the wind so well I've been riding regularly. Getting ready to load my cameras to shoot a baseball game tonight.I've been on several boards where the Southerners like to harass the guys up North about the length of the riding season. It's all a matter of what you're used to and what your priorities are. I've been riding for almost 60 years so getting on a motorcycle is not at the top of my priority list. Sure, some years(like this one) we don't get the bikes out as early, but there have been many Summers that my bike goes into storage just like Winter because it's just too hot to comfortably ride. I have a sport sedan with a heater and air conditioning for the times when it's not comfortable to ride. For me, the comfort zone is in the 55* - 75* range. Anything much above or below that and I'm 4 wheeling it.

It's all part of the fun, I ride year round here in the PNW however some days when I get blasted by a wall of water from the other lane I think to myself "WTF, I have a perfectly good jeep at home..." That thought quickly passes and I roll on a bit more go juice and enjoy my ride

Sunny and 60 degrees here in central Indiana today. Got both of mine out today, air them up, gassed them up and got around 100 miles on each!
Man this weather looks like it is starting to break, planning trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes in late May, Southern Indiana, and Natchez trace Parkway in June.

Well, the snow is coming down in the Colorado mountains today, tonight, and tomorrow. Hopefully it will be a big one that will help with the drought, then give us some sunny days for good riding. Took the following picture about an hour ago.

Currently under a Winter Weather Advisory:
* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with localized amounts up to 8 inches, are expected.

Well, I'm back on two wheels starting today. It's 39 now, going to 53 or so. Tomorrow a tick warmer. It's been 6 months...it's about time. Next week looks a little more promising. It's gotta break at some point.
