Fog lights

Any particular set for just full time running lights? I'm not wanting turn signals, off switch, etc.

I've had the Honda LED fogs for 5 seasons and no problems at all.

I assume the foglights are a diffuse beam? Are there any lights that have a more focused beam? I'd like a light that would shine further down the shoulder for spotting upcoming things sooner. If any of you ever had the old Lucas Flame throwers, something like that.
