I'm wondering how often this happens to you guys. I'm stopped at a light and the car in the next lane stops short to compliment me on my F6B. The light turns green and he still wants to talk. This has happened 2 or 3 times a month since April.

Is this common to other bike brands too?

I don't hear my friends with brand new "V-Twins" getting this kind of attention.

Don't get me wrong...I LOVE this attention. Then of course trying to be humble with this mile wide grin is difficult.

Ha! I had a Dude take my photo from the other lane in Roanoke, VA. Hum?

Hilarious. I also had a guy ask and take a picture one day heading into work. Never in 40 years of riding on any other bike has that happened.

I do get the stares at stoplights but try not to notice. The brunt of the F6B gawkers are at fuel stops, that's when I always get someone asking me what it is!! I always reply it's a "flat six bagger" and ride off into happy time.:icon_biggrin:

Had my F6B since June and no dice :022: I get nothing at stop lights or gas stations. Now when I had the Spyder yes everywhere I went people talking could not get away from them.
I do get some action at Hooters bike night but not that much :iduno:

ME? Nada.... The Wife??? Yep. Happened with our Yami's before and even more so now with the 6's.

She's kind of a 'Chatty Cathy' and I'm a grumpy old fart, so I just let her talk to 'em!! LOL!!

This summer I had a guy chase me down to get a look at the F6B. I mean I had no idea until after about the 6th or 7th turn that this guy only wanted to take a good look. LOL :iduno:

I get quite a bit of that out here in the SF bay area, not many F6B in these parts. On hwy 80 I get a lot cars roll up on me, look, then back off. I like to speed up and see how bad they wanna see. Had a few HD folks roll up, and see how gorgeous this machine is, sneer, and go off rappin their pipes.

I got spit on by a guy out the passenger window of a car while stopped at a red light. That's not much for positive feedback but this is about a 99% American made area with attitude doled out by the bucket load. I ride with several different groups and MUST ride the correct bike for each group. I frankly don't care what you ride as long as you ride and enjoy it.

I was pulled over by the local motor officer last week, was wondering what I had done this time, but he just wanted to check out the bike. In all fairness he was someone I knew from my LEO days but with a helmet on I doubt he knew it was me. Said he wished the Dept would get one as a Motor.

Yeah, and I wonder how many of these guys are driving foreign cars. I never understood that b/s, even when I was riding HDs.

I'm usually traveling "a little" faster than the HDs.

My wife has people asking about her F6 all the time, at stop lights, gas stations, restaurant and store parking lots. It doesn't matter, because this bike gets attention. She loves it and just looks at me and grins. :icon_wink:

Once in a while, as someone is commenting on her bike, someone will same something about my Wing. But not often.......

I was on a group ride yesterday. When we were at one of the stops the guy riding the HD in front of me said, "I keep looking in the mirror and thinking, Damn that's a good looking bike." :icon_mrgreen:

I've read that HD has been pulling the wool over the HD community for years, claiming the "American Built" b/s, there was a news story about HD riders buying GENUINE HD parts in packaging marked HD Milwaukee, made in the USA, then they open the package and the part states, "made in china", on the back, HD response was they "mistakenly" packaged it wrong.

I've never quite understood why so many people feel the need to look down on other guys for their choice of motorcycle. It's exhausting from the HD Pirates, the grumpy old fart Wingers, the Beemer flock, etc. Why can't people just enjoy the ride and not worry about the other guy, I mean really you're going to spit on someone for not riding your choice of motorcycle?

I love my F6B, a good buddy of mine enjoys the hell out of his Stratoliner, his dad rides the crap out of a Victory Vision, and amazingly when we ride together the world does not implode on itself.

Actually I get it all the time when riding my M109R. It's low, wide, loud and fast. At first it took sometime getting use to people always asking about it, but I enjoy it now. As far as what bike people ride, I don't care what you ride, just ride and enjoy it.

My riding buddies, All Harley riders are used to being the center of attention. Now that I'm riding the F6B it no longer happens for them. Its always people giving me the third degree asking how many cylinders, cu inches, cc, who makes etc. Telling me how cool it is etc. etc. Lol...Dickie

A friend I ride with every few months (rides an older Victory V-92) will sometimes bring along his Street Glide riding buddy. The buddies bike is totally tricked out with an extreme bucks motor, paint job, custom wheels, many many top end speakers, you name it. The bike is stunning, even among other stunning Harleys. On a recent ride we made two stops, one for gas and one for water and snacks. At both stops my F6B got a ton of attention and unending raves. Mr. Street Glide was getting visibility upset. It got to where I actually felt sorry for him. He's a good guy. The final straw was when one guy finished salivating over my bike, looked over at the SG and asked, "Is that a Harley?". More fun all the time.

Its true,,, The HD bagger bunch is everywhere, and they all pretty much follow the same theme,,,

Wanna know how to clear out a biker bar?
Call the Bartender and have her announce that you accidently ran over a black Harley with your car in the parking lot.
3/4 of 'em will rush outside to see if it was theirs,,,,

Nah, a riding buddy of mine got his first (to my knowledge) HD SG last year. 2012 Vivid Black,,,, He's tickled, but on any given day, if ya look around,,, you can see dozens more just like it.

He slapped some 14" Yaffe ape hangers on it,,, Again, he's tickled,,, I've ridden it a couple times. Nice, but not my cup "o" tea, and the bars aren't quite what I'd want either,,,

Still, we have had a LOT of fun riding together and giving each other a hard time!!!!
