My sister lives in the area. I haven't been on that road yet but will be sure to go check it out this fall.
Rt 74 from Cleveland off I75 to Asheville NC is a good ride. Good pavement all the way.

Yep 74 from Ocoee to Ducktown is a beautiful road. A little crowded sometimes esp when the busses are catering to the rafting Tourist but Hard to beat for beauty and curves. My preference is the many back roads East of Franklin and North of Highlands and Lake Toxaway. You just have to not mind hearing some banjo music.
