I put 15 miles on the bike today and it's time to put it away for the year a little early then usual but what can you do.
Oil is changed and the rear end oil, bike is washed and covered.
Next I need to put the Snowblower on the the tractor.
Can't wait til spring

Have mine setting in garage waiting for decent enough weather to put it on center stand and do the same, but the temperature around here has been so "butt cold" that I have not mustered the courage to lay on the garage floor and do the work...Supposed to be around 45 degrees on Thanksgiving day and if can get to it, I hope to get it ready for the "long winters nap"!!!..Regards

I know how you feel.
Just got back from the doctors office after having to
drive through about 5 inches of snow and countless drivers
that have no business being on the road in the snow.
I have changed oils added stabilizer to fuel and placed
on tender and center stand also covered.
I will tell you if and when the snow goes and it rains to
wash away the salt Yes I will put on heated gear and go for it.

Going for a ride Sunday, a cold front is coming through right now so only supposed to get up into the high 60s. I might be able to handle that without heated gear if it warms up quick.

I just got back from a 480 mile ride through southern Arizona. Nice day with good riding companions. The temp hit mid 70s. Not gloating but I do enjoy the southwest about 9 months of the year.

You get 9 months, in Wis we usually get 8 months. For the last couple years I have been flying to California by my sisters and rent a cycle for 2 days.

We have snow today, but I not going to throw in the towel yet. I have riden every month this year. Don't plan on putting it away til I get that December ride taken care of. I have got 12 month a year rides for 2 out of last 3 years. year before last I id not get a February ride.

I have ridden at least once every month in years past so I don't do a complete winterization for storage.

I'm with ya, the weather guessers are showing 44 here on Friday after Thanksgiving, that's warm enough with a heated jacket and gloves. This year will be my first chance at riding 12 months, we had some good breaks from winter last spring and I was able to get out on my ST1300. I got my F6B in September and I'm not ready to park it yet. I'm hoping with this early cold weather we'll get a nice warm up in December. I don't think we had Indian Summer yet.
