Hey everybody, So I joined the group awhile ago. And after a year of tire kicking I finally bought a new 2016. To good of a deal to pass up! My question is what’s the best way to tie/strap it down in a trailer? Doesn’t look like there’s to many places. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What F6Bster suggested, I tied my F6B down that way and transported it from Russellville Ar. to East Texas with no problems or damage. Welcome from East Texas.

Lol yeah I know I had to wait for the right price and the wife to be on vacation. All the stars aligned last week I’m super pumped I pick it up Monday.

Welcome to the group, I get up to northern Michigan at least once each year so I'll watch out for you.

triple tree for the front, plus one tie down around the rim (use rags to protect your rims & fender) Passenger pegs for the rear / side to side. Tie down through back of rear tire. Take it out of gear. Check for tightness after 25 miles, then 50, then each gas stop. Towed from central Fl. to Canada & back, no issues.

I suggest just gearing up and riding it home! Just think that you are going snowmobiling without the snow!

You will really like that bike! Last summer I rode from Cleveland, Ohio to LA and back, with a side trip on the Dragon Tail, and had absolutely no problems. Didn't even use any oil, just gas!!
