Anybody have any experience on / with the Honda CTX 700 DCT?
It looks a lot like a 500# baby "B".
With 670cc's, I know they're not as fast. But I'm wondering about the ride & handling.
Anybody take one on a test ride or know much about them?
Thinking it might be a fit when the B gets too heavy for my old legs & body.
I've owned dozens of bikes, but this B has them all beat, hands down.
Maybe the CTX 700 might be a close fit with the DCT, low seat & looks.

It looks like an interesting bike.
I remember seeing a CTX1300 sitting beside my B on the showroom floor. First time I had seen either bike before.
They looked very similar at a glance. Don't hear much about the CTX models.
The 700 has pegs that look a little far forward to me. I like knees at 90 degrees.

Trying to stay as light as possible and still get a nice ride & handling.

Hey Olegoat345, have you ever considered "landing gear"? They are basically retractable small wheels on a sturdy pneumatic system that automatically lower(rapidly) at speeds below 6mph and automatically retract above that speed so you can ride normally. They can take the full weight of the bike when lowered. They ain't cheap, but that might be a way for you to keep your B and have your cake and eat it, too, so to speak.
Here's a video:

looks like a good idea.
I'm not ready to move to a lighter bike or landing gear yet. I will go down kicking & fighting but sooner or later, it'll happen.
