Was out riding with a friend last weekend in north west Ohio. He rides a Harley.
I pulled away from the gas pumps and stopped before pulling out on the road.
He came up behind me and hit the rear of my bike with his highway pegs.
Luckly, they swung out of the way, but left a scrape. Not a deep gouge. A rough smudge.
When we got down to look at it, he said, There is no paint on the bike except the frame and motor.
He was right. I don't know why I didn't know that. All my Honda's from the late 90'S on had no black paint less it was on the tank.
Just very smooth shinny black plastic.
I'm thinking I can polish most of it out, but will let him sweat it out for a while.
