MI trip

Got a visit to Traverse City MI and experienced a couple of roads that really made me wish for my bike. First the Tunnel of Trees I had read about and it did not disappoint, beautiful drive. Second over in Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore I found Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive and loved it. Visit if you ever get the chance with or without a bike.

Traverse City, Bellaire and Torch Lake are certainly gorgeous areas. A college buddy of mine was from Bellaire and I spent some time there with him and his family. It's a whole different WORLD from Detroit. :)

Born and raised Deeeeeeetroit. Moved to SoCal in the 80's. Yes, Meeeeechigan has many fantastic roads to ride. A few yrs back rode up to copper harbor. Last year, took the ferry over from WI to Grand Haven. You're blessed indeed.
