Does anyone on this forum have any experience with wearing elevated sole boots on an F6B. I am just wondering about the clearance between the rider's peg and the gear shift. Is there enough room to get your toe between those two parts of the bike?

I would appreciate any advice you might have.

I don't have any experience, but from my reading, that space is 'adjustable' using the gear shift linkage (I think that's what I've read).

Just adjust shifter down slightly.

The simple answer is YES, the "stock" shifter can be adjusted up and down in a limited number of 1" increments. I used DHS Racing (http://www.dhsracing.com/GL-1800.htm) to modify my shifter linkage and I'm very satisfied. You may not want to go to the expense of the modification but check out his site for some helpful information.

Best cycle gear I've ever used... no more tippy-toes at stops...

What brand of boot did you buy, and how much did you extend your sole?

Thanks for your help.
