Great story about Emilio Scotto who put 500,000 on a 1980 1100 Goldwing, "The Longest Ride: My Ten-Year 500,000 Mile Motorcycle Journey" except the paperback used is over $100, what? I'll wait for the movie.

It really is a great book. A riding friend bought the original hardcover ('coffee table' size) and I borrowed and read the whole thing. As good as it is you may have to wait a long time for the movie.

That was a joke, BUT, if they did make a movie Keanu Reeves would be perfect. Motorcycle enthusiast and decent actor. Halle Berry can play a waitress just because.

I know it was. Goldwing owners are usually thought to be on the bland side of the motorcycle spectrum and not a good draw at the box office. On a ride through Kansas on a very hot day with several Valkyrie riders we stopped for gas and ice cream. One rider said 'Harley riders stop at bars; Goldwing riders stop at Dairy Queens'.
