This is cool and very interesting. Does it piggy-back the ECU or have its own computer?

I like it, especially miles to empty and gear indicator feature. How difficult is the install?

Is this available yet? Is the correct gear displayed even with the clutch in?

Looks good Pete, can't wait. My only suggestion is the display looks like its from ten years ago. Can you get something that pops more to our eyes and can be seen at night? Next tie in a TPMS system and everyone will want it.:yikes:

Ditto. I'm new here but I've been poking around and you do do great work Pete.

These would go like hotcakes if you could tie into the OEM center info display screen.

Personally, and I believe I'm speaking for others too, I'm hesitant to install an additional display that doesn't match the OEM look.

Blue color would be great.

I test rode the new valk and really liked the digital display it was like a dark blue on gold background, very easy to read even in direct sunlight.

Pete,

Interesting this indicator which gives much information, the break-out could ' it this make directly on diagnostic setting as for certain indicator of committed report (Gi Pro IN Productions Honda 2) without spirit of competition right the idea.
This product is ' it available to the sale or under development .....

It'd be a shame for this to fade away and die. That display is just not marketable though.

How about this... sell the instructions as a DIY kit and let the user find their own display.

We are working on a new unit based on the available diagnostics on the bike but we won't have much on this for a while

So this isn't going to happen? It seems very cool even though I have no idea what a "low speed ground trigger" is. :icon_biggrin:

I'm a data nut; the more information I can see about my vehicle the better.

I've been holding off on buying the OEM voltmeter for this little puppy. The gear indicator would be great IMO; many times in corner entries I lose track of gears and I don't know if I just clicked into 2nd or 3rd. By the time I figure it out by playing with the clutch, I've lost momentum and the corner is no longer fun.

Also, when coming to a stoplight sometimes I coast in and then downshift through multiple gears to prepare for the green light. Most times I coast in from 5th gear but sometimes I lose track and coast in from 4th. A gear indicator would help me see if I just down clicked into 1st or 2nd.

These two scenarios require the gear indicator to show the gear while the clutch lever is pulled in... is that how this works? Or do you have to release the clutch lever before the gear is indicated?

I didn't. I'll look for it...

I think I get it now -- that new unit you're talking about includes this same technology. :banghead:

Oooh, that'sa nice!
Why, with one of those... I could RULE THE WORLD! MUAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAA!! (cough*cough*cough)

Seriously, though, that's is pretty cool.
I think I could find a place for it on my F6.
Just make sure the mount system for it is solid; it has to stay put on an über fast YELLOW bike. :icon_biggrin:

I'm planning to buy a HealTech gear indicator this week, but I might hold off if there's an ETA on this one.
