Staying over in Farmington NM made it easy to access these landmarks. BTW, the Chinese lady wanted a pic with me and had her male companion/husband take the pic. She said something in Chinese, he said yes so I think I'm engaged. Hopefully, she's Catholic

It was a little hot going to Monument Valley. I heard when it goes down to 90 degrees they run out for milk & Bread

108 degrees feels so much better from where you're at. Apparently, when it drops down to 90 degrees they run out for milk and bread. I'll have large videos I'll link to Youtube when I get back, didn't bring my laptop because the drive to Monument Valley and the Canyon are spectacular in themselves. Tried to get Valley of the Gods in but Valley of the Gods Rd turns sharp right off a paved road onto a pitched gravel entry, then onto a dirt road, that wasn't happening.

I missed 4 corners on my trip last year by about 200 miles. Glad you both got to see it!

It's okay, it's a plate in the ground, it was close to the 2 big ones, Monument and the Canyon. We went from Flagstaff AZ to Blythe, Ca mostly in 110-115 degree heat in 60 West and that bike just glided with the temp gauge just sitting there, didn't even break a sweat, unlike me.

100% confidence in that bike. I was in 90-100 degree heat last July without a hiccup. She’s awesome.

Bear in mind these are just from my cell, when I arrive home I will make compilation videos of pics/vids. I've taken 2 GoPros, a Panasonic video cam and a Samsung camera, I like redundancy. BTW, the Indians call their markets INDIAN Markets with INDIAN jewelry made with INDIAN craftsmanship.

There is a Taco Truck in Cambria, five miles away from San Simeon. It’s called Boni’s Tacos, very good food. The restaurants in San Simeon are mediocre and overpriced. I got slammed with jury duty, otherwise I would offer to meet you. Ride safe and keep posting pictures.

A few years ago I ate at Taco Temple in Morro Bay. You had to wait for a seat but it was worth it. Wonderful seafood.
