Does anyone have the saddlebag templates, if so, send me a PM.

I had them 5yrs ago and they were pretty well used up then. It was a card board set and something more durable was probably needed. If I remember right, there were 2 sets floating around.

Okay, thanks, hopefully, somebody will come up with them

How difficult is it to make a new set, especially cardboard?

Do they need to be foldable?

The trick is to get the cardboard in those rounded corners and odd profiles. My guess is its easier to take a soft material, get the template then transfer it to cardboard.

For shipping it would be better to double them up or else they'll get mangled. I may just give it a shot tomorrow. However, it was 89 degrees here in Brooklyn today and I've been suuning and BBQing but I'll try and make the sacrlfice.

Use aluminum foil to make a template and transfer same to a old vinyl table cloth! Once complete the templates can be folded in thirds and easily mailed:cheers:

I understand sometimes just fabricating things yourself when it's convenient and material readily available, I can make a penny sweat too, with my Yankee Engineering and G.I. Ingenuity. But the saddlebag carpets that are already premade really don't cost that much though. Finished edges, rubber backing. I do have a set of these.

That was close, its going to be 85 degrees today and I had no intentions of doing anything but sunning. Conservation of energy.

Unfortunately, I don't have one but you can go with the saddle bags (https://www.vikingbags.com/motorcycle-saddlebags.htm) to get some idea.
