I bought a set of these off of ebay. I expected real thin liners. I am surprised that they are pretty thick. They weigh 1.25 lbs, each. Anyway, I am real happy with them.

I have them zipped up about half way to keep stuff from falling out each time I open the bags.

They don't quite conform to the newer style saddlebags. But that's okay, it gives me a little cubby hole for my compressor and such.

No affiliation, ymmv, all that stuff.

I ordered a set of these off of Amazon, coming in tomorrow. Actually glad to hear they don't fill up the whole space, I like extra room for do-dads like tool kits, compressors, water bottles etc.

I liked about this bag that it has an outward-facing zippered side pouch; I plan on sliding my iPad mini into that and running the cable up to the USB input in the left saddlebag.

Mine have the zipped pouch on the back wall, not the front 'lid'.

Kinda wished the LHS saddlebag was as big as the RHS! (Liners are the same size, bags aren't due to swingarm I assume)

Mine are zipped on the back wall, too. Good place for those pesky bungy cords.

For those odd shaped indents in the saddle bags, I'm thinking of velcroing odds and ends there (flashlight, ect).

Interesting… mine came in today. They have a pouch on the top (with the Betem logo) that has a magnetic clasp and a main zippered pouch. No other compartments, so when I pack I'll basically be throwing everything into the main compartment.

I'm very impressed with the weight of the material; they didn't use crappy nylon, that's for sure. Other elements of the construction are not so nice (like the chintzy faux-leather clasp that binds the two handles together) but to my eyes this bag will last. Too bad they don't have shoulder straps though (or the ability to attach any). Here's the Amazon listing: http://www.amazon.com/Bestem-LGHO-GL18H-SDL-Black-Saddlebag-GL1800/product-reviews/B001O5ZO4C/ref=cm_cr_dp_see_all_btm?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending.

Note: the listing mentions shoulder straps and a rain cover; neither apply to this unit as far as I can tell.

Gen 1 Wing liners: http://www.bestemusa.com/Honda-Gold-Wing-GL1800-Saddlebag-Liners_p_997.html

2012 and up: http://www.bestemusa.com/Honda-Gold-Wing-GL1800-2012-Saddlebag-Sideliner-_p_1899.html

Saddlebags were changed with Gen 2, but I imagine either set would work.

Mine (Gen 2) are a bit larger than the bag opening and require a little maneuvering to get 'em inside.

No Clasp. Did send carrying straps , which,,, I don't use.
