Seeing that I am a poor white boy, I am looking for some financing. Has anyone had any experience w/honda financial, how were they to work with? My credit union will give me between 3.75 and 4,75 depending on what my credit score comes back as.

Choptop, speaking from my own personal experiences....I would go with Honda financing...100%. I have bought many new bikes (8 of them) from Honda over the past years, and even after I have paid the bike off, and years have gone by, if I ever wanted to finance another one, Hondas' records show my good payment history with them, and they have never turned me down, and always given me the best low interest rates. I think right now they are at 1.99%. Maybe that has changed. Their online bill pay is also very good, good website, and I have NO complaints about their service.

I have financed thru Honda three times now and would definitely do it again. They send you a monthly payment via mail and you have the option of paying by phone or online. I only had one issue with them and that was around 10 years ago when I bought a 400EX and financed thru Honda Finance. They said they never received my first payment and I had and still have never been late on any bill or payment. They called me and I explained I had sent the bill out. Long story short, they waived the late fee, I cancelled the check that never went thru and sent them another check.

Thanks guys, will see what they offer.1.99% would be nice but not for 3 years, to much payment for my pocket book. Would rather pay 4% for 5 years threw my credit union if it comes to that.

You can do that too. They will offer you 1.99 % for 3 years, or 2.99 % of 60 months, which is 5 years. Still...the 2.99 % is better than most banks will offer.

Choptop, I would double check the rate your Credit Union told you just to be safe...Most of them charge a higher rate for "boy toys" so to speak..Honda financing has worked great for me a couple times but I usually pay the bike off before the deadline...A home equity loan can sometimes be cheaper also and it is tax deductible.....

I agree!!!

Everyone's situation is different. I was focused on the 1.99/36 for my 'interests' (:icon_wink:). Wasn't aware of the 2.99/60, but as you say, 2.99 on a MC is gonna be tough for any Bank/Credit Union to match.

The 2.9/60 is what I would be interested in. The only thing that is holding me back right now is the Wi. winter we are having and having to make payments and sit and look at that beauty for months before I can ride it! Not to mention that all the money I would spend, in the interim, on goodies:icon_lol:.

This is the best time of year to buy. In another couple months, those 2013 bikes will be gone, and they will not discount the newer 2014 models.
If I were you.....I would buy the new...zero miles....2013 F6B standard, pay them $ 300.00 for the shipping, and have them deliver the bike to your house. Your first payment with Honda will not be until after the first of March.

Your gonna love the bike. :icon_mrgreen:

The radio is so great sounding that I listened to it all day while working on my house.

I got the Honda finance myself.

+1 on Honda financing.

I've used Honda Financing on 5 bikes now, not a single issue what so ever. And I will use them on my 6th whenever that happens

Wait for the 14. No one pays retail for a Honda, ever, or Victory for that matter. Seems like almost everyone here got at least $2k off sticker, get a good rate thru Honda...

But,but at 17,500 for the deluxe and 16,500. for the standard, I am their. Hate to wait for the '14, just at the beginning of riding season and find they aren't to motivated to move at discount.

Then go for it!! You can put it on the centerstand and make motorcycle noises in the garage til it warms up...
