Working beautifully for me, the images are too large for some. The OP needs to re-size them for all to see.

640 x 480 is the ideal size

I have a large monitor and forget they aren't compatible for smaller ones. Let me see what I can do.

Now all that is left is to back the bike into the seat. :icon_mrgreen:

Unfortunately that seat will be sitting in that exact same spot for about 2 weeks.....The truck and trailer just came to take my baby away to the paint booth. They are going to put a K&N filter in for me for free while it's apart though, I thought that was pretty nice of them. More goodies ordered today and some on the bench waiting.....I will be a busy little bee when this bike gets back!

I'm pretty sure this has already been addressed, but can the side covers be removed with the Ultimate seat on? Can the rider backrest be put on and taken off without removing the seat?

Yes and yes! Sidecovers come off with the seat installed and riders back rest slips in and out of the internal bracket system. I had my seat made with a custom cover that's why there's no flap directly behind where the rider sits. Normally you would just lift the little Velcro flap and slide the backrest right in.

What is "custom" about your seat cover? It looks like the seats pictured on their website.

If you read directly above your question I stated it was labeled "custom" because I left the flap out and had the cover made with no velcro or hole for the backrest. I also don't believe they have yet posted a picture of the King seat so I'm not sure what picture you saw on their website?

Please excuse my odd question, but.....do we have two forum members both named bigdawg ? The other one is Jimmy, forum name Big Dawg, out of North Carolina/South Carolina/Georgia/Florida. It is hard to believe that this "bigdawg" is the same as the other "Big Dawg", simply due to post count.

I found the answer to my own question, being the investigative responder that I am. We do in fact have two forum members with very similar names....one is Big Dawg...and the other is bigdawg.

Hmmmmmm........

Wanted to know if you got the seat and if it was a king model what you thought if you have had a chance to ride with it on your bike.Pics of it mounted if you have any?I had a Ultimate on my Roadstar for 5 years and was happy with it.At 6'5" this King seat might work well as they say it gives another 1.5 inches back and stock hieght as I do not want to be lowered like other seats do.I am torn between this one or a Russell Day long but I really like the looks of the Ultimate.
