What is the one thing, if you could only pick one, that you wish Honda would include on the F6B?

Nothing.I know most did/will say cruise control but all my last rides had the Harley thumb knob cruise control/Canam Spyder aftermarket cruise control. I guess I really never had a true cruise control so with the F6B the Throttlemeister is fine .batman-smilie.

Cruise Control
It's really ridiculous that a 20k bike don't have it.
Still love the bike though.

If I could choose one thing I guess it would be cruise control too. I'm fine without it, but it would be nice out on the interstate.

No fifth gear limiter. I ride with a fast pack sometimes and 130 just isn't enough. I'm hoping Healtech will come out with a GIpro that has a tre enabled to eliminate this. I had one on my 109 with a gear indicator that worked great, tricked the bike into thinking it was in fourth gear to eliminate the speed control.

Since I have no issues with my great black paint job I wish it had a better antenna so I could pick up some radio stations outside the city.

130? Count yourself lucky, the rest of us get cut off at 125.

I'm fine with it but if I had to nitpick I'd go for cruise. I just think that a bike at this price and this level of refinement should have one.

Power windshield is a close second for me. I had one on BMW K1200LT and it should be standard, too. If BikeMP3 comes out with dark tinted one I'd buy it.

I added one and it was pretty easy. Just time consuming.

I bought my F6B Basic for exactly what it is! No surprises! It is exactly as advertised! Knowing that in advance, I was well aware that I would equip the bike at my discretion and add those items that I deemed would be necessary. Mother Honda created a long awaited streamlined/lightweight version of the Goldwing! Something everyone was asking for. A proven chassis and power-plant unequaled in the cycle industry. Giving people a choice between a fully loaded behemoth GL1800 with all the bells and whistles or the lightweight version F6B was a wise choice by Honda. Getting the Wing Basics for less than $20K was a achievement in itself. There is no question we may scratch our heads on Honda's logic on USA versions of the 6 :icon_rolleyes:, but the fact remains, it is a machine people will continue to buy, as it fills a void which needed filling.

I am sort of surprised that Honda does not even offer cruise as an option. As for the paint, that seemed to go downhill on the Goldwings when they moved production to Japan. My 2007 had a much better paint job than my 2012. They have the ability, just look at the paint on the Fury models, CB1100 or VFR 1200.

I never would have purchased a Goldwing in 2013 if it were not for the F6B. So in my case Honda has Scored at least One victory.

Like many others I knew going in what the bike had and bought it as is. I quickly realized I missed cruise more than I thought I would so I added it!

While the bike was apart I took advantage and painted it.

MC Cruise also has a cruise control system now available for the F6B. Still have to perform the labor of taking the bike down to the throttle bodies, and reassembly. But all the brackets are with the kit, and the electrical looks to be simpler than putting on a Rostra kit. It is much more expensive than Rostra.

ABS.

Still shocking that Honda does not include ABS on every bike over 500cc.

With cruise and ABS already on the GL1800 platform I am also surprised they are not options or offered on a deluxe model instead of center stand, backrest and heated grips which are things I can ad through the dealer.

It does seem odd that they would not use the same wiring harness and other components even if they did not install these features they could have been easily added should one so choose. But I am sure they had a marketing reason?

I'm happy with my bike as sold by the Dealer except the PAINT. So I would like to have a Bike with a good quality paint job from the factory. This is my fourth Honda and the only one that the paint SUCKS.

Its the Cruise control I miss. Not having it is way worse than I thought it would be.............Dickie
