Anybody on this forum ever / ride up and stay in Glacier National Park and Banff / Calgary Canada region ? If so, do you have any recommendations for tent camping in these areas? Looking to find a good place to camp for a few days at each site for early July.
Sincerely,
Jim Bob1

Yes, I have ridden to that area many times, and all around Galcier National Park and the Banff/Jasper area of Alberta, Canada. But I usually motel it. There are a LOT of campgrounds in those areas....LOTS of them, but you need to be aware of the weather situation up there, as weather changes FAST in that area. Camping may be a way to go, but if it rains, or even snows, you may want to get a room. Just a heads up :icon_wink:

I'd recommend trying to make some time for Jasper, The Ice Fields Parkway and visiting Drumheller on your way.

Jasper

The Whistlers campground in Jasper. Be aware though there may be grizzlies in and around the campground. You'll be notified by staff at the entrance if that's the case. The Elk roam around as well and you'll need to keep your distance at that time of year.

If the Whistlers is full there is another campground across the road called the Wapati.

As I said try to come through Drumheller on your way up, if possible and tour the Royal Tyrrell Museum.

Have fun!
