Found another one that came off a Goldwing GL1800 that has the Pressure detection valve stem, will not effect the use on the F6B. From Honda of Russellville

275 or so seems to be the going rate. That's what I paid for my spare a couple of months ago.

Dang. I've been at work all day. I'll get one soon I'm sure. It would be nice to have a spare rim to mount the CT on. After I wear out the MT first. :)

Spare deferential for when you reach 100,000 miles and may need one. Cheaper to replace versus repairing an old one.

I bought one from them a month or two ago. Spare wheel, differential, at great prices. This is where I bought my bike. They build a lot of trikes in house. Keep them in mind if you are looking for spares.

If you are wanting a spare, call Shawnee Honda (Oklahoma) and ask for the next one. This is where I bought my bike, my spare wheel and tire, and spare rear drive. They are a volume trike builder, great prices on the take off items. I've noticed that the last several wheels sold on ebay have come from this dealership.

That is where I bought mine from. Brand new 2017 color matched takeoff, mounted, balanced and read to go. The rubber whiskers were still on the tire. It does have a different valve stem and TPMS sensor than the 2013 F6B. There were more whiskers on the right side than the left side of the tire indicating the bike had been pushed around the shop a little while leaning to the left and/or sitting on the kick stand.

Interesting way they packaged it. They spared no expense on packaging =).

I too, have a G/W takeoff tire and wheel with that internal OEM TPMS installed. I haven't broken the bead yet to look at it; but do you need a special tool to remove that TPMS from the wheel?

I want to get rid of it so I can install a T-Valve in it's place.

lol i forgot to look at TPM can i just leave there or have to be remove ?

I just put the tire on the way it came and left the TPMS on it. I have no use for the TPMS, but the tire was balanced with it on (Read: Being cheap and lazy. Didn't want to break the bead and rebalance). I tend to like the valve stem better on the new rim than the F6B's rim. I may remove the TPMS when I wear out the tire that came with it.

I considered RideOn, Dyna Beads and CounterAct Beads, but decided against them. Both beads have reported issues with adding them though a TPMS and both have users who report that when they check their tire pressure, they get stuck in the valve and cause the tire to loose pressure. CounterAct makes some filtered replacement valve stems, but they are too long to work on the 90 degree valve stems. The RideOn messes up non-hermetically sealed TPMSs.

CounterAct also claims that their beads are statically charged and cling to the tire when slowed down and stopped so they don't fall to the bottom of the tire each time.

I picked up one from a trike conversion on flea bay awhile back for $175 shipped. It was black and only had 7,500 on the original tire. Of course I darksided anyway but just wanted a spare.
