Somewhat OT, but I never actually use the antenna,,, Thinking about removing the whip and 'covering' the stub with a vacc cap,,,

Sure would make my bike cover go on easier!

Seemed interesting til I got to this part:

Size: 8 in(length) 4.3 in(width) 2.75 in(height)

That would be far more gaudy to me than the normal antenna.
