Greetings from the wild west, Reno, NV. I joined this forum a week ago in an attempt to help me make up my mind regarding a purchase. I was torn between a Level 3 wing and the F6B. After spending hours upon end on this forum, coupled with my own personal observations, I pulled the trigger today on a red '13 Deluxe!

I've had over 20 bikes over the past 35 years...mostly BMW's, but did have a '97 Valkyrie Tourer that I loved. This new one has me smiling like none other.

Thanks to each of you for your forum input in helping me choose what I expect will be one of the best bikes I'll ever own. I won't get it for a couple of weeks...it's at a sister dealership to my local dealer out of town. Now I gotta buy all the farkle to put on her when she arrives....Hmmm

Welcome and Congrats on the new bike.

Had a few Beemers in my past. Great bikes but costly when they break.
Also had 2 Valk Tourers , enjoyed em but F6B is definatley the next step!!

I had 2 BMW's: 06 K1200S (final drive blew out at 46,000 miles) and 07 K1200GT ( at 88,000 miles cam chain jumped, bent all the valves and wrecked the head) needless to say I am not a fan of over-engineered machinery, which is one of the many reasons I am on the F6B: GL1800 proven track record!!!!

Hope you get yours soon.

You're right Chop, the black ones are faster.

Welcome Jim from Dayton,NV.I bought my F6B from the Reno Honda dealer and I believe until your recent purchase I was the only one in Northern Nevada.Welcome to the club and enjoy your new ride when you get it.This by far is the best bike I have owned for riding in 40+ years.If you have any questions I'm close by and ride to Sparks as I have friends off Vista.Oh by the way I have the fast color black and have added many farkles to mine if you want to see them.
