Well, there is no going back now. Somebody bought my Harley Low Rider and I've bought an F6BD (the new color:icon_wink:). It's at the dealer, still unassembled in the crate. If the weather cooperates I should have it home in 2 or 3 weeks. Here are some pictures, I hope I attached them properly, if not I will keep trying.

Anyway, I guess it is official and I would like to join the group here if that's OK with you. I live about 60 miles outside of Philadelphia, in Berks County, lots of motorcycles, but mostly Harleys I think.

I tried to order a yellow deluxe and was told by Honda not available! Did not want a base model so I am still on hold?

2 or 3 weeks sounds like a long time , I picked mine up the same day it showed up at the dealer they in crated it in the morning and I plucked it up that evening before they closed. Welcome and Congrats.

Yeah, nice blue sky today, some bikes already on the road too. I would have ridden it home if it was ready. I ordered it a few months ago and it arrived at the dealer on Tuesday. I was going to leave it there, crated, until all the salt was off the roads. Forget that! I'll bring it home on the next nice weekend.

It is the "D" or deluxe version. Maybe Honda makes these things in batches. Dealers have a window each month or so to place orders, then I think there is some back and forth between the Dealerships and Honda, it was explained to me and I still don't understand. I guess my advise would be to talk to a few dealers, tell them what you want and that you will wait:icon_frown: for it, and put down a deposit.

I really wanted a yellow one, but was told by my dealer they weren't available, with no ETA on when they would be. Got a red '13 Deluxe instead. :shrug:

You are the first yellow owner on here as far as I can tell. My Chattanooga dealer said only select dealers have the 2014s, so still rare.
