I can tell you most customers have them on 24/4 thats why we make that offer to save buying the switch

I have the switch installed with my 960's.That being said I am running the lights all the time as they do show well for saftey during daylight hours and at night throw out a ton of light. So far I have never had a problem at night with oncoming traffic being bothered by the 960's so I guess there really is no reason to turn them off.

I installed the 960s from MP3 and am very happy with the light. I didn't like the "edge trim" that is supposed to go around the cowling, and if I had to do it again, would leave that off. They REALLY do melt the asphalt!

I agree with Elin about the edge trim. That was definitely the least fun part of the install. OTOH, I don't think it would look nearly as good without that trim. Overall, the 960's look great and no doubt, project the most light of any available choices.

I also installed the switch, and really, REALLY want to change the color of it from green to red. Wonder how I can do that?

They will all work but none are waterproof which for most people is not an issue but if yo ride in the rain please consider.

If you need the plugs to make up your own switches they are available here its the 4 pin female you need

My wife and I have the 960's on both our bikes, and we run them all of the time. We have a lot of other biker's comment on how bright they are.

Where does the loop plug get plugged in in the Bike MP3 960 lights? What is the L-shape trim they mention in instructions.

F6B-RICH
03-29-2014, 05:24 PM
The L shaped trim I would think is the trim next to the left cubby box.Its L shaped.Runs down along the cubby box then makes a right towards the engine .batman-smilie.
